John Richert, RPL is the CEO of Baseline Minerals. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but now residing in Oklahoma City, he is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics.

 

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending most of my time with my wife Lauren and kids Rhett & Ryan.  Also, enjoy playing golf, going to OU & Thunder games.

 

How long have you been in the industry?

I started in 2011 as a lease buyer working multiple basins.  Prior to Baseline Minerals, I managed multiple acquisition projects for a brokerage who specialized in acquiring assets for private equity companies totaling over $500 million.   I started Baseline Minerals in 2014 and mainly focused on acquiring non-operated leasehold and buying mineral rights in Oklahoma and Texas.  Since that time we have expanded into multiple basins.
